SICA Art Club – Join the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts’ Art Club from 2 to 7 p.m. at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour. Bring what you’ve been working on and enjoy the company of other artists.
Downtown Fall Festival – There will be a Downtown Fall Festival in downtown Seymour from 4 to 8 p.m. There will be vendors and more throughout the evening.
Rocking Readers Bingo – READ Jackson County will host the Rocking Readers Bingo Night Fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 110 East Sixth Street, Seymour. There will be game prizes, door prizes, and more. Tickets are $25 and can be ordered by clicking here.
Leadership Jackson County Anniversary Dinner – Leadership Jackson County is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a dinner, guests speakers and dessert auction at 6 p.m. at Pewter Hall in Brownstown. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by clicking this link. You do not have to be an alumni to attend.

Friday Night Lights – The Brownstown Central High School Braves will host the Seymour High School Owls for the annual Jackson Bowl. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Good luck to both teams!

Live Wrestling at Harmony Park – The Return of The Hustler Rip Rogers and Von Lilas will be featured during the “Hunger Games” live wrestling match at 7:30 p.m. at Harmony Park at the Brooklyn Pizza Company 753 West Second Street, Seymour. Stardust Movie Series – The Jackson County Chamber’s Stardust Movie Series will continue with Sweet Home Alabama and sponsored by Roger Wessel at sundown on the patio at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.

DNR Free Fishing Day – No license is required to fish Jackson County’s public waters.
Fall Street Fair – Community Church of Brownstown will host a Fall Street Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 117 West Tanner Street, Brownstown. It will include craft vendors, a bake sale, music, food and more. Information: 812-498-5214.
Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market Market Lite fall season will operate from 9 a.m. to noon in the Walnut Street Parking Lot in Seymour.

Fall Into Getting Healthy – Join the Jackson County United Way, Indiana Department of Health, Covering Kids and Families and Su Casa for the Fall Into Getting Healthy Community Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Margaret R. Brown Elementary, 550 Miller Lane, Seymour. The event will include community resources, health screenings, prizes, food, giveaways and more.
Fishing Festival – Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will celebrate a free fishing day in Indiana with a Fishing Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place around the visitor center at the refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour, and will feature fly-fishing and fly-tying demonstrations by the Indianapolis Flycasters, children’s fishing games and crafts and fishing lessons for first-time anglers with all equipment provided. Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1035 A Avenue, Seymour. Be sure to check out this wonderful place that is open each Saturday!
Fall Party at Hamacher Hall – There will be a Fall Party from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Hamacher Hall, 211 East Howard Street, Crothersville. The day will feature chili, craft vendors, and live music. Jackson Snelling will play from 5 to 8 p.m.
Dancing with the Seymour Stars Matinee – The Dancing with the Seymour Stars Matinee will be at 1 p.m., at Celebrations Event Center. The doors will open at noon and there will be light appetizers and beverages for purchase. Tickets for the matinee are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Benefit Ride – The Shari Stahl Memorial Ride will begin at 1 p.m. and leave from the Seymour Fraternal Order of the Eagles and end at on the Rox. The cost is $20 per person and all proceeds will benefit CASA of Jackson County to help with the purchase of ABATE Christmas presents for children in need. Information: Curt Copeland at 812-528-2044.
Harvest Festival – Trinity United Methodist Church will host its third annual Harvest Festival from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church, 333 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. There will be food, music, games, fellowship and more.

BBQ Chicken Dinner – The Medora Masonic Lodge 328 will host its annual chicken BBQ from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the lodge, 95 North Jackson Street, Medora. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from any member. The meal includes a 1/2 chicken, baked beans, potato salad, dessert, and drink. Information 812-276-9530.

Wednesday Evening Rides – Join the Jackson County Bicycle Club for its Wednesday Evening Ride. The group will leave at 6 p.m. from Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street from the parking lot facing Westgate Road. This week’s ride is 10 miles. The group will ride 10 miles every Wednesday through October. Visit the Facebook group for updates and more information.
