Jackson County Horseshoe Tournament – The 56th annual Jackson County Horseshoe Tournament will be at 9 a.m. at Gaiser Park. There are qualifying rounds from 5 to 8 p.m. on September 1 and 2. For information, call Glenn Hollin at 812-498-7652.

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market Market Lite fall season will operate from 9 a.m. to noon in the Walnut Street Parking Lot in Seymour.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1035 A Avenue, Seymour. Be sure to check out this wonderful place that is open each Saturday!

Live music at Harmony Park –  She Loves Horses – a Tom Petty Tribute Band will play at 7 p.m. at Harmony Park at the Brooklyn Pizza Company 753 West Second Street, Seymour. Advance tickets are available for $15 at the Seymour Brewing Company, and are $20 online.

Wednesday Evening Rides – Join the Jackson County Bicycle Club for its Wednesday Evening Ride. The group will leave at 6 p.m. from Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street from the parking lot facing Westgate Road. This week’s ride is 10 miles.
