Thursday, August 19
City Jam – The Sweet Tea Trio will perform at 6:30 p.m. at Crossroads Community Park as part of Seymour Main Street’s City Jam summer concert series. Food and drinks will begin at 6 p.m. Read about the band in this article by The Tribune.
Friday, August 20
Pre Scoop Car Show – The Sixth Annual FOP Pre-Scoop Cruise-In and Car Show “Tom Gray Memorial” will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Walnut Street Parking Lot and Robertson Feed Mill Parking Lot in downtown Seymour.
Live Music at Rails – Trevor Delk will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery.
Live Music at the Legion – The Jordan Tyler Band will perform at 8 p.m. at the Seymour American Legion Post 89.
Live Music at On the Rox – Taylor Anderson and Friends will perform at 8 p.m. at On the Rox.
Stardust Movie Series – The Jackson County Chamber will host another Stardust Movie Series night at Crossroads Community Park in downtown Seymour. They will be showing “Deep” and families can bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Saturday, August 21
Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon in the Walnut Street Parking Lot.
Golf time – The Seymour Firefighters Local 577 Golf Scramble is scheduled for 8 a.m. at Shadowood Golf Course.
Car wash – The Special Olympics Indiana Jackson County is hosting a car wash for donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Taco Bell in Seymour.
Hoosier Quest Program – The Hoosier Quest Program will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon at Starve Hollow State Recreation Area. Learn about how you can start earning Discover, Explore Pins and Challenge Patches.
Bean Dinner – The Weddleville Old Settlers Bean Dinner is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West County Road 250S, Medora. Read everything you need to know in this article from The Tribune.
Pig in the Park – The Seymour Noon Lions Club annual Pig in the Park is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. at Gaiser Park in Seymour. They’ll serve up some awesome pulled pork, but there also will be fun activities for the kids, live music, vendor booths from local agencies and more.
Car Show – The Cruise with the Son Car Show is scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Seymour. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and is only $15 with the proceeds going to Redeemer Parochial students.
Scoop the Loop – Scoop the Loop will begin at 6 p.m. in downtown Seymour. Get ready for a fun night of a happy traffic jam as well as seeing great friends. Share your photos with us! Get your official Scoop the Loop shirts at the visitor center. The Seymour Evening Lions Club are selling them!
Live Music at Harmony Park – Tantric will perform at 7 p.m. at Harmony Park. It’s $25 and you can order tickets by clicking this link.
Live Music at Brewskies Downtown – Brad Treadway will perform at 7 p.m. at Brewskies Downtown.
Live Music at Jackson Live – National recording artist T. Graham Brown will perform for 7 p.m. at Jackson Live. Tickets are available by calling 812-521-1282.
Live Music at Rails – Tylynn Allen will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery.
Live Music at Poplar Street – Mixed Media will perform at 7 p.m. at Poplar Street Restaurant.
Rodeo – The Indiana High School Rodeo is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. It’s $5 to enter (under 8 is free) and there will be food available.
Live Music at the Moose – Past Tense will perform at 8 p.m. at the Moose Lodge 418.
