Summer Bash – Summer Bash Indiana will be running July 11 through July 14, at Black Swan Lake, 8683 West County Road 150N, Medora. The four-day festival features music, food, art, camping, and more. Click here for tickets.

SICA Open Hours – The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will host its open hours from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 14, at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour.

Trivia Night at Rails – Patty Brothers Entertainment will host Trivia Night at 6 p.m. July 11, at Rails Craft Brew & Eatery, 114 St. Louis Avenue, Seymour. The theme is general trivia.

Live music at Poplar Street – Brian Fink will play at 7 p.m. July 11, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour. The restaurant is celebrating its 100th anniversary this weekend!

Open Mic Night – Chateau de Pique Winery & Brewery will host Open Mic Night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 12, at the winery, 6163 North County Road 760E, Seymour.

Live music at Harmony Park – Bomar & Ritter will play at 6:30 p.m. July 12, at Harmony Park outside the Brooklyn Pizza Company, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.

Live music at Poplar Street – Dwight Hendrix will play at 7 p.m. July 12, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour. The restaurant is celebrating its 100th anniversary this weekend!

Friday Night Live – Sydney Slead and the Swarm will play Friday Night Live at 7 p.m. July 12, at the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, 2001 North Ewing Street in Seymour. There also will be food and art during the event. Those who attend are welcome to bring coolers and lawn chairs.

Live music at Rails – Holly Barret will play at 7 p.m. July 12, at Rails Craft Brew & Eatery, 114 St. Louis Avenue, Seymour.

‘Black Comedy’ – Seymour ACTS will present ‘Black Comedy’ at 7:30 p.m. July 12, at the theatre, 357 Tanger Blvd, Seymour. Click here for tickets.

Live music at Brewskies Downtown – Bad Medicine will play at 8 p.m. July 12, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.

5K – The Seymour High School Boys Cross Country Team will host the Midnight Run 5K at midnight, July 12 (into July 13), at Seymour High School. Click here to register.


Saturday, July 13

Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon July 13, in the Farmers Market Parking Lot off Walnut Street in Seymour.

Picnic at the Farm – Swifty Events will host a picnic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 13, at Swifty Farm, 351 U.S. 31, Seymour. There will be a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. and open house a Mourfield Estates. Young Marines will do a flag ceremony and Ruben Guthrie will perform. Food, beer and other vendors will be available.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 13. Appointments can be scheduled through the week by calling 812-271-1821.

Scott Patman Memorial – The Scott Patman Memorial will start around 6 p.m. July 13, at the Brownstown Speedway, 476 East County Road 100S, Brownstown. The race will feature Super Stocks $1,200 to win plus ILMS Pro Late Models, Pure Stocks, Hornets, and Crown Vics. Click here for tickets and more information.

Live music at Poplar Street – Soul Express will play at 7 p.m. July 13, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour. Darnell Dukes also will be doing face painting. The restaurant is celebrating its 100th anniversary this weekend!

Nick Personett Memorial Golf Scramble – The Seymour Chapters of Epsilon Sigma Alpha will host the 23rd annual Nick Personett Memorial Golf Scramble at 1 p.m. July 14, at Shadowood Golf Course, 333 North Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour. Lunch will be at noon with a 1 p.m. Shotgun Start. It’s $60 per person or $240 for a team with all proceeds benefiting Camp Riley.

Craft Time – Moxie Coffee Company will host a free craft from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 15, at the coffee shop, 218 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. The theme for the month is water.

Open Mic at Brewskies Downtown – Michael Staublin will host Open Mic Night at 6 p.m. July 15, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.

Trivia Night – The Knights of Columbus will host Trivia Night at 7 p.m. July 16, at 118 East Second Street, Seymour. Tickets are $75 per team of six and includes all you can eat pizza, breadsticks, and salad from Puckett’s Pizza. All proceeds benefit St. Vincent de Paul. Information: 812-522-2989.
