Thursday, June 9
SICA Art Club – Join the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts’ Art Club from 2 to 7 p.m. at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour. Bring what you’ve been working on and enjoy the company of other artists.
Crothersville Red, White and Blue Festival – The Crothersville Red, White and Blue Festival will be from 5 to 9 p.m. in Crothersville. Browse through vendors, crafts, food, carnival, the car and tractor show, parade and more! Click here for the schedule.
Live music at Reed’s Place – Fred Elam will play from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reed’s Place Steak & Chop Shop, 224 South Chestnut Street.
Friday, June 10
Country Neighbors Home Tour – The Country Neighbors’ ‘Spring Into Summer’ Tour is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 10 and 11 at various home-based businesses in Jackson and Lawrence counties. Stop by the Jackson County Visitor Center for a brochure or find more on the Country Neighbors’ Facebook page.

Saturday, June 11
Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon in the Walnut Street Parking Lot in Seymour.
Josh Teegarden Memorial 5K Run/Walk – The Josh Teegarden Memorial 5K Run/Walk will be at 9 a.m. at the Freetown Church of Christ, 7077 North State Road 135, Freetown. It’s $25 and registration is at 8 a.m. All proceeds will be sued for a scholarship at Johnson University.

Downtown Shop Around – Seymour Main Street will host its Downtown Shop Around from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at participating local businesses in downtown Seymour. Pick up a stamp card at participating locations and three winners will be selected for a $100, $50, and $25 gift card of your choice!
Houston Spring Festival – Join the Houston Christian Church for its Spring Festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Historic Houston School, 9850 North County Road 750W, Norman. Monday, June 13
Trinity Lutheran High School Art Camp – Trinity will host an art camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 13-15 with an art show at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 15. It’s $40 per child for grades entering kindergarten through fourth grade. Email cadler@trinitycougars.org to register or for info.
SICA Art Camp – Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will host its art camp from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13-16. It’s open to those who have completed Kindergarten through those who have completed Fifth Grade. Cost to attend is $100 per child for non-members and $80 per child for members. Each child will get a t-shirt. Daily schedule includes music, dance, painting, drawing, crafts, imagination station, free time to complete projects along with lunch and play. Each student will need to bring lunch and a refillable water bottle.
Tuesday, June 14
Elk’s Flag Day Ceremony – The Elks will have a Flag Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. on the patio at Brewskies Downtown., 117 East Second Street, Seymour.
Trivia night at Harmony Park – Patty Brothers Entertainment will host its summer trivia series at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Harmony Park at the Brooklyn Pizza Company 753 West Second Street, Seymour. The series is five straight weeks beginning May 31.
Wednesday June 15
Fun with Nature Camp – The Jackson County Spark Club will offer the Fun with Nature Day Camp at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 15 and 16. It’s open to grades 3 through 6 and limited to 40. The event is free for Jackson County 4-H members, but $20 for non-members. The camp will allow participants to learn more about birds, trees, wildlife habitats, and learn more about the outdoors. Those who participate should bring a sack lunch and will get a free t-shirt. TLHS Art Camp Art Show – Trinity Lutheran High School’s Art Camp will have an art show at 5:30 p.m. at the school, 1 Trinity Way, Seymour.
Wednesday Evening Rides – Join the Jackson County Bicycle Club for its Wednesday Evening Ride. The group will leave at 6 p.m. from Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street from the parking lot facing Westgate Road. This week’s ride is 5 miles. The group increases each week by a half mile until they reach 10-mile rides each week through October. Visit the Facebook group for updates and more information.
Knights of Comedy – The Knights of Columbus will offer Knights of Comedy at 8 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 118 East Second Street, Seymour. The show features the comedy of Griffin Sciarra, David Brooks, Blake Hammond and Jake Ruble. Tickets are $15. Sales begin June 8 at the Knights of Columbus.
