Thursday, April 13
Food Truck & Music Night – Grub A Dub Dub and Sno Biz food trucks will be at the John Mellencamp mural from 4 to 8 p.m. for the Food Trucks & Live Music night. Music will be provided by This Old Guitar Music Store. This event is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Mellencamp mural each Thursday in April.
Friday, April 14
Meet & Greet – Vick’s Liquor Store will host a meet and greet with Kurt Ludington of the SLB Drinks YouTube channel at 3 p.m. April 14 at the store, 400 East Tipton Street, Seymour. Ludington will be available to meet up with fans and share his knowledge of bourbon.
Bourbon Pour – The Seymour Main Street Bourbon Pour is set for 6 p.m., April 14, at the Knights of Columbus, 118 East Second Street, Seymour. This event is sold out.
You Are My Sunshine – The Lutheran Central School You Are My Sunshine Father-Daughter Dance is scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m., April 14, at the school, 415 North Elm Street, Brownstown. The night will include a cake walk, dancing, snacks, a photo booth, and more. The event is for fathers and other adult male influences as well girls preK through eighth grade. Live music at the Eagles – Adam Crabtree will play from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., April 14 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 112 East Second Street, Seymour.
Saturday, April 15
Fish Derby Charity Fundraiser – The Borchers Lutheran League and Indiana Aquaculture Association will host a fishing derby fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Borchers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 10792 North County Road 210E, Seymour. It’s $10 to enter and the pond will be stocked with locally raised rainbow trout. Participants may catch and keep fish with prizes being presented hourly. The fundraiser proceeds will go to the Borchers Luther League to support a teen mission trip to Colorado’s most impoverished county.
Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 15,1035 A Avenue, Seymour. If you cannot make it during those hours, you may schedule a tour by calling 812-271-1821.
Pampered Tea for Two – The third annual Pampered Tea for Two will take place from 10 a.m. to noon April 15, at the Knights of Columbus, 118 East Second Street, Seymour. The event will include hair styling, makeup, story time, boutique shopping, nail painting, tea, cookies, dancing and photos. This event is sold out.
Earth Day Clean Up – The Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will host an Earth Day Clean Up at noon, April 15, at the refuge visitor center, 12985 East U.S. 50, Seymour.
Trinity United Methodist Church Meal – Trinity United Methodist Church will host its Free Meal for the Community from 5 to 7 p.m., April 15, at the church, 333 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. This month’s menu is Salisbury Steak, Cheesy Potatoes, Corn and Brownies.
Race Night at Brownstown Speedway – This week’s race at Brownstown Speedway, April 15, will feature Super Late Models, ILMS Pro Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, Hornets. Click here for the website for all details and tickets.
Live music at Harmony Park – Steve Deweese will play at 6 p.m., April 15, at Harmony Park, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.
Live music at Meek’s – Forrest Turner will play from 8 to 11 p.m., April 15, at Meek’s Bar and Grill.

Tuesday, April 18
Winter Farmers Market – The final winter’s farmers market will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., April 18, at the farmers market parking lot in downtown Seymour.
German Language Class – Learn German at Schwatzer’s German Restaurant in downtown Seymour. It’s $5 per session and goes through April.
Wednesday, April 19
Castrol FloRacing Night in America – The Castrol FloRacing Night in America will take place, April 19, at Brownstown Speedway. The night will feature Super Late models with $23,023 to win, plus modifieds. Click here for the website for all details and tickets.
Food & Beer Pairing – The Chasing Bubbles Foundation will host a Food & Beer Pairing event from 6 to 8 p.m., April 19, at Schwatzer’s German Restaurant, 113 Indianapolis Avenue, Seymour. It’s $70 to attend the event and includes a 7 course meal with a unique 4-ounce pour of beer with each course.
