Turkey Trot – Girls Inc of Jackson County will host the annual Turkey Trot 5K Walk and 8K Run at 7:30 a.m. November 23, at the facility. Click here to register.

Gobbler’s Nightmare – Hickory Hills Golf Club will host the annual Gobbler’s Nightmare at 10 a.m. November 24, at the course, 1509 State Road 135, Brownstown. It’s an 18 hole, 2-person scramble with a cash payout. There a $120 entry fee per team, which includes golf, green fees, a cart, and food. Information: 812-358-4529.

Downtown Shop Around – Seymour Main Street’s Downtown Shop Around is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. November 25, at participating businesses in downtown Seymour. There will be a Shop Small theme for this Downtown Shop Around. Visit participating locations for a punch card where you will be entered to win $100, $50, or $25.
Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 25, at 1035 A Avenue, Seymour.
Seymour Museum Center – The Seymour Museum Center will be open for its regular hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 25, at 220 North Chestnut Street, Seymour.
Open House – Rough & Rusty Open House, noon to 7 p.m., 1103 West Commerce Street, Brownstown. There will be milk, cookies, Christmas music and sales.
