Community Heroes & Game Night – Turning Point Domestic Violence Services and the City of Seymour Parks and Recreation Department will host Community Heroes & Game Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. October 17, at the Seymour Community Center, 107 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. Fort Vallonia Days – The annual Fort Vallonia Days will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 19, in Vallonia. The festival will include food, crafts, flea market, entertainment, 5K, parade, contests, and more.

‘Holloween’ Spooktacular – Starve Hollow State Recreation Area will host its annual ‘Holloween’ Spooktacular with activities from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. October 19, at the property in Vallonia. activities include 10 a.m. Grab & Ghost Crafts, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Trick or Treat (traffic stops at 3:30 p.m.), 6 p.m. campsite decorations winners, 7 p.m. Happy Haunts kid-friendly haunted house tour, and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Haunted House. Karaoke – Brewkies Downtown will host Karaoke at 7 p.m. October 19, at the restaurant, 117 East Second Street, Seymour. There will be prizes for the top three. The contest will feature two divisions – Under 18 for kids, and Adults 18+.
