Tuesday, June 3

Summer Kick Off – The Jackson County Public Library will host a Summer Kick Off from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., June 3, at the location in Medora, 27 Main Street, Medora. There will be community agencies, games, a bouncy house, and more. The event is free and open to all ages.

Live music at Poplar Street – Fred & Steve will perform at 7 p.m. June 3, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

Thursday, June 5

Open Mic Night – Michael Staublin will host Open Mic Night at 6 p.m. June 5, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.

Friday, June 6

Antique Machinery Show – The 16th annual Jackson County Antique Machinery Show will be held June 6 and 7 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown. The show will feature John Deere Tractors and engines, but all makes and models are welcome. It’s free to attend and the event will include a tractor drive Friday at 9 a.m., a swap meet, flea market, cake walk, silent auction, kids pedal pull and barrel train, demonstrations, and more.

Live Music at Rails – Dwight Hendrix will perform at 7 p.m. June 6, on the patio at Rails Craft Brewery in Seymour. In the event of rain, music will be moved indoors.

Live music at Poplar Street – Michael Staublin will perform at 7 p.m. June 6, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

Wrestling – Supreme Wrestling will host a wrestling match will be at 7:30 p.m. June 6, at Jackson Live and Event Center, 981 C Avenue E, Seymour.

Yard Sale – The Norman Station Conservation Club will host its monthly Flea Market & Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 7, at the club, 12157 West County Road 450N, Norman. For booth space, contact Gary at 812-826-6581.

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operated from 8 a.m. to noon in the Farmers Market Lot off Walnut Street in downtown Seymour.

There is a different topic each month, and the program is geared toward preschool-aged children. No registration required.
