The Freetown Freedom Festival starts up today (July 10) and also will take place Saturday, July 11 at the Pershing Park in Freetown.

There is a host of activities planned including games, food, entertainment, a parade, tractor drive and much more. Connect and see updates through the festival’s Facebook page.

Those who attend are encouraged to follow guidelines such as social distancing, wearing a face covering and frequently sanitizing. A hand sanitizer station will be available.

Here is the schedule of events:

Friday

4 p.m. – Vendor booths open

4 to 9 p.m. – Kids’ Alley with games, activities and prizes

6 p.m. – Opening ceremony with the Long Family Singers

7 to 8:30 p.m – Justyn Underwood: Acoustic

8:45 to 11 p.m. – The Dallas Cole Band

Saturday

9 a.m. – Tractor drive

10 a.m. – Vendor booths open

10 a.m. – The Dew Daddies

10 a.m. to 9 p.m. – Kids’ Alley with games, activities and prizes

Noon – Parade

1 to 5 p.m. – Classic car show

1:30 p.m. – On the House Band

3 p.m. – Cake walk and car show music

4 p.m. – Open karaoke and contest registration

5 p.m. – Karaoke contest

6 p.m. – Steve Deweese: Acoustic

7:45 p.m. – Eliana Weston: Acoustic

9:45 p.m. – Fireworks

10:30 p.m. – Music

11 p.m. – Festival ends
