The Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire will host a formal dinner dance masquerade ball at 8 p.m. May 3, at Swifty Events Center, 351 U.S. 31, Seymour. Dancing will be led by Magpie, and it's $40 per person. Tickets include parking, one adult beverage, and dinner by Open Flame. The event is 21 years and older only.

The Cruisin' for a Cause Car Show will be held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 9, in the Seymour High School Parking Lot, 1350 West Second Street, Seymour. The event is free to attend and will include the car show, food by Junkyard BBQ & Kona Ice, music, prizes, and more. It's $10 to enter a car. Proceeds will go to the Special Olympics Indiana Jackson County.
Coleshine will perform at 7 p.m. May 9, on the patio at Rails Craft Brewery in Seymour. In the event of rain, music will be moved indoors.
