Club to host Hoosier Scale Fly-In

The Southern Indiana Flying Eagles, Remote Control Model Airplane Club will host the Hoosier Scale Fly-In from August 5 through August 7, at the Freeman Municipal Airport.

Flying will begin around noon until 5 p.m. on August 5 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 6 and 7.

The group flies replicas of full-sized aircrafts. Pilots and club members will be available to share information about the group and event. There is no cost to attend.

Signs will be placed from U.S. 50 to Airport Road to make the event easier to find. There also will be concessions and a restroom available, and viewers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and sunscreen.
