One of Jackson County’s richest traditions – the Jackson County Fair – returns in a big way in July! Here’s a guide to everything going on in Jackson County in July 2024!

Tuesday, July 16

Craft Time – Moxie Coffee Company will host a free craft from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 15, at the coffee shop, 218 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. The theme for the month is water.

Open Mic at Brewskies Downtown – Michael Staublin will host Open Mic Night at 6 p.m. July 15, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.

Trivia Night – The Knights of Columbus will host Trivia Night at 7 p.m. July 16, at 118 East Second Street, Seymour. Tickets are $75 per team of six and includes all you can eat pizza, breadsticks, and salad from Puckett’s Pizza. All proceeds benefit St. Vincent de Paul. Information: 812-522-2989.


Wednesday, July 17

Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon July 17, in the Farmers Market Parking Lot off Walnut Street in Seymour.

SICA Open Hours – The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will host its open hours from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 17, at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour.

Tasting – Vick’s Liquor Store will host a Frey Ranch Bourbon tasting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 17, at the store, 400 East Tipton Street, Seymour.

Bicycle Club – The Jackson County Bicycle Club will meet at 6 p.m. July 17, in the parking lot of Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street, Seymour. Visit the group’s Facebook group for all the details.

SICA Open Hours – The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will host its open hours from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 18, at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour.

City Jam – Seymour Main Street will host its monthly Seymour City Jam at 6 p.m. July 18, at Crossroads Community Park in downtown Seymour. The Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle will perform at 6:30 p.m.

Trivia Night at Rails – Patty Brothers Entertainment will host Trivia Night at 6 p.m. July 18, at Rails Craft Brew & Eatery, 114 St. Louis Avenue, Seymour. The theme is 80 & 90s films.


Friday, July 19

SICA Open Hours – The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will host its open hours from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 19, at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour.

Cruise In & Concert – The Driftwood Township Volunteer Fire Department will host a cruise in and concert at 4 p.m. July 19, in Vallonia. There will be fish sandwiches and tenderloins for sale. Admission is free.

Live music at The Bearded Hobo – Short Notice will play at 6 p.m. July 19, at The Bearded Hobo, 1029 West Commerce Street, Brownstown.

Live Music at Chateau de Pique – Bryce Hatton will play from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 19, at the winery, 6163 North County Road 760E, Seymour.
