Thursday, April 4

SICA Open Hours – SICA will be open for regular hours, 1 to 6 p.m. April 4. There’s also the opportunity to work on art during the open hours. Friday, April 5

Meet & Greet – Popular YouTube channel personalities Bourbon Kingdom will be available during a meet and greet at 4 p.m. April 5, at Vick’s Liquor Store, 400 East Tipton Street, Seymour. The hosts will be the special guests for the Seymour Main Street Bourbon Pour, but this will be a moment for fans to introduce themselves and get a picture together.

Live music at Seymour Brewing Co. – Kolton Norton will perform at 6 p.m. April 5, at The Seymour Brewing Company, 755 West Second Street, Seymour.

Bourbon Pour – The Seymour Main Street Bourbon Pour will take place at 6:30 p.m. April 5, at the Knights of Columbus, 118 East Second Street, Seymour. The event will include a blind tasting of Bourbons, meal, and silent auction.

Live music at Brewskies Downtown – Dwight Hendrix will play at 7:30 p.m. April 5, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.

Saturday, April 6

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday. Appointments can be scheduled through the week by calling 812-271-1821.

Seymour Museum Center – The Seymour Museum Center will be open for its regular hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 6, at 220 North Chestnut Street, Seymour.

SICA Self Portrait Workshop – SICA will host a self portrait workshop at noon April 6, at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour. The workshops are designed to be for all ages and experience levels. Call SICA during hours at 812-522-2278 for more information or to register.

Book Signing – Seymour native Michael Weasner will be signing copies of his book ‘Finding My Way to the Stars’ during an event at 2 p.m. April 6, at the Seymour Museum Center, 220 North Chestnut Street, Seymour.

Ira Bastin Memorial Race – Brownstown Speedway will host the Ira Bastin Memorial Race at 6 p.m. April 6, at the speedway, 476 East County Road, 100S, Brownstown. The race features the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series. There also will be Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Crown Vics.

Medora Timberjacks – The Medora Timberjacks will host Cincinnati during a game at 7 p.m. April 6, at Medora High School, 200 West Block Main Street, Medora.

Ira Bastin Memorial – Brownstown Speedway will host the Ira Bastin Memorial Race at 6 p.m. April 6, at the speedway, 476 East County Road, 100S, Brownstown. The race features the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series. There also will be Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Crown Vics.

Sunday, April 7

Seymour Eclipse Celebration – The Seymour Eclipse Celebration will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 7, in the B&O Parking Lot and Crossroads Community Park in downtown Seymour. The event will include Eclipse Education (Noon at Knights of Columbus), food, crafts, and live music (from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.). Music at the Jackson Co. Fairgrounds – Lonesome Crow Acoustic Show and Forrest Turner will perform at 6 p.m. April 7, at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown.

Driftwood Christian Church Eclipse Celebration – Driftwood Christian Church will host an Eclipse party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 8, at the church, 5564 State Road 135, Vallonia. The day will include food, activities, and viewing the Eclipse.

Nature Time – The Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will host its Nature Time Pre School Program at 9:30 a.m. April 10, at the refuge visitor center, 12985 East U.S. 50, Seymour. There will be a new theme each month, and preregistration is not required.
