Seymour is located off of Interstate 65, U.S. 50, and U.S. 31, one hour south of Indianapolis and less than an hour north of Louisville.
Stop by the Jackson County Visitor Center at 100 North Broadway Street, Seymour, to purchase an audio tour CD. You also do not want to miss our Mellencamp display at our office, which includes an autographed guitar you can get your picture with.
The audio tour includes sites important to Mellencamp during his time growing up in Seymour. If you do not have a CD player in your car, we can get you a printed copy of the sites.
Sites include his boyhood home, where he attended school, highlights from Falling From Grace, and more! You also need to make sure you stop by the mural painted on the side of This Old Guitar Music Store!
