Thursday, November 3
‘Nature & Travel’ – A reception for the Southern Indiana Center of the Arts’ exhibit ‘Nature & Travel’ featuring photography by Joseph Persinger will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour. The night will feature 35 framed photos and canvases and refreshments. It is free and open to the public. The display will be available through November 30.
Friday, November 4
Borchers Supper & Bazaar –St. Paul Lutheran Church – Borchers will host its annual Supper & Bazaar from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church, 10792 North County Road, 210E, Seymour. The meal is a free will offering and will feature a turkey and ham dinner with all the trimmings and a bazaar will feature homemade crafts, baked good and canned goods.
Pink Wagon Market – The Pink Wagon Market will be from 5 to 10 p.m. at Celebrations in the Shoppes of Seymour. It’s $5 to enter. Click here for our guide to the market.
Live music at Seymour Brewing Co. – Brian Hopkins will play at 7 p.m. at the Seymour Brewing Company, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.
Live music at Poplar Street – Brad Treadway will play at 7 p.m. at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.
Fear Fair – Indiana’s Scariest Haunted House will host its final weekend from 8 p.m. to midnight at the house, 800 A Avenue, Seymour. Click here for tickets.
Saturday, November 5
Pink Wagon Market – The Pink Wagon Market will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Celebrations in the Shoppes of Seymour. It’s $5 to enter. Click here for our guide to the market.
Immanuel Craft Show – The 40th annual Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies Aid 3 Arts & Craft Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran School, 520 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. Both of the school’s gyms will be filled with handmade items including holiday items, jewelry, pet treats, paintings, books, candles, quilts, American Girl clothing, decorations, wooden items, food, and more. Lunch available for purchase.
Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1035 A Avenue, Seymour. If you cannot make it during those hours, you may schedule a tour by calling 812-271-1821.
Darts for Hearts – On the Rox will host Darts for Hearts at 11 a.m. at the restaurant, 214 South Broadway Street, Seymour. The doors will open at 10 a.m., which is when participants may sign up. Team draws/shuffle is at 11 a.m. It’s $20 to enter with half of the pot going to the winner and the other half to Riley Children’s Hospital. There also will be a 50/50 raffle. Fall Festival – The Freetown Church of Christ will host its Fall Festival from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church, 7077 North State Road 135, Freetown. The evening will include hay rides, a bounce house, corn hole, food and more. For more information, call Melissa at 812-216-4124.
Live music at the Eagles – Gene Deere will play at 7:30 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 122 East Second Street, Seymour.

Sunday, November 6
Guided Hike – Healthy Jackson County and the Indiana Department of Recreation will host a Guided Hike at 2 p.m. at the Jackson-Washington State Forest in Brownstown. Those who plan to attend should meet at the Knob Lake Dam, bring water, and prepare to hike two to three miles.
Immanuel Lutheran Church Childcare Dinner – The Immanuel Lutheran Church Child Care Dinner & Dessert Auction is set for 5 p.m. November 6, at Pewter Hall, 850 West Sweet Street, Brownstown. Tickets are $20 for ages 9 and up, and $10 for ages 4-8, children 3 and under are free. Tables of 8 are also available for $140. Tickets can be purchased at Immanuel Lutheran Church office by October 28.
