Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon in the Walnut Street Parking Lot in Seymour.

Pershing Township VFD 5K – The Pershing Township Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual 5K at 9 a.m. at 4696 W Columbus Pike, Freetown. This event includes the 5K, fish fry and auction.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1035 A Avenue, Seymour. Be sure to check out this wonderful place that is open each Saturday!

Redding Township VFD Fundraiser – The Redding Township Volunteer Fire Department will host a freewill meal and raffle from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, at the station, 1934 North Ewing Street, Seymour. The menu will be pork burgers, hot dogs and drinks. Tropical Sno also will be on site along with bounce houses for kids. The trucks and equipment also will be on display.A firetruck raffle will be drawn at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are still available to purchase for $10. Only 600 tickets will be sold. Contact any fire department member or send a message via facebook.com/reddingvfd. The truck is a 1984 Pierce Custom four-man cab with a 1,000-gallon water tank and a 1,250 gpm pump.

Euchre Tournament & Soup Suppoer – The Pershing Township Lions Club will sponsor a soup supper and a euchre tournament Saturday at the senior citizens center, 6807 N. Union St., Freetown. The menu will include chili, bean and potato soup, cornbread, hot dogs and homemade desserts. Serving for the meal will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the tournament will begin at 6 p.m. The cost is $5 for the meal and $5 to participate in the tournament. Wednesday Evening Rides – Join the Jackson County Bicycle Club for its Wednesday Evening Ride. The group will leave at 6 p.m. from Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street from the parking lot facing Westgate Road. This week’s ride is 7 miles. The group increases each week by a half mile until they reach 10-mile rides each week through October. Visit the Facebook group for updates and more information.
