Thursday, April 28
SICA Art Club – Join the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts’ Art Club from 2 to 7 p.m. at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour. Bring what you’ve been working on and enjoy the company of other artists.
Live music at Seymour Brewing Co. – Hyryder will perform from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Seymour Brewing Company, 735 West Second Street, Seymour.
Purse Bingo – Join Turning Point Jackson County at The Moose Lodge on April 28th for the first Purse Bingo! Tickets are $25. Get tickets by clicking here. Brands will include Vera Bradley, Coach, and more. All proceeds will directly benefit Turning Point’s work with domestic violence survivors in Jackson County. Ages 18+ welcome.
Friday, April 29
Spring Open House – Anytime Florals & Gifts will host its Spring Open House from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the store, 310 East Commerce Street. Find what you’re looking for to get your home ready for the season! Schocke’s Meats Food Truck will be on location from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

JCCT Show – Jackson County Community Theatre will present ‘Sylvia’ with a show at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal-Off-the-Square Theatre, 121 West Walnut Street, Brownstown. Ticket information can be found at jcct.org.
Timberjacks Game – The Medora Timberjacks of The Basketball League will take on the Kentucky Enforcers at Medora Junior-Senior High School for a home game. Tip off is at 7 p.m. Learn more by visiting their website.
Saturday, April 30
Mother’s Day Craft Show – Stuckwish Farm Market will host its annual Mother’s Day Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the market, 4683 South State Road 135, Vallonia. Shop with local vendors for flowers, clothing, jewelry, crafts and more to find the perfect gift for mom!
Cummings Lighthouse Open House – Cummings Lighthouse will host its annual open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the store, 7462 North U.S. 31, Seymour. They will have door prizes, giveaways and a 10% discount!
Fire Department Fundraiser – The Crothersville-Vernon Township Fire Department will host a fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 200 Moore Street, Crothersville. They will have fish, tenderloins, fries, and drinks. They accept cash or debit/credit cards.
Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1035 A Avenue, Seymour. Be sure to check out this wonderful place that is open each Saturday!
Lil’ Jacks Basketball Camp – The Medora Timberjacks will host a basketball camp for boys and girls grades K-fifth from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Medora High School gymnasium, 200 West Block of Main Street, Medora. There also will be a scrimmage during Saturday night’s game for participants. Register by clicking here.
Seymour Historic Walking Tour – Join local historian Kevin Greene for a walking history tour of the Seymour Boulevards from 1 to 3 p.m. The tour will begin at Brooklyn Pizza Company, 753 West Second Street, Seymour. Wednesday, May 4
Wednesday Evening Rides – Join the Jackson County Bicycle Club for its first Wednesday Evening Ride of the year! The group will leave at 6 p.m. from Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street from the parking lot facing Westgate Road. This week’s ride is 2.5 miles. The group increases each week by a half mile until they reach 10-mile rides each week through October. Visit the Facebook group for updates and more information.
Trivia Night at Poplar Street Restaurant – Patty Brothers Entertainment will host its spring trivia series at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour. The series is five straight weeks and each week will be a different theme.
