Friday, April 15

SICA Art Club – Join the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts’ Art Club from 2 to 7 p.m. at the center, 2001 North Ewing Street, Seymour. Bring what you’ve been working on and enjoy the company of other artists.

Live music at Seymour Brewing Co. – Steve Deweese will perform at 7 p.m. at the Seymour Brewing Company, 753 West Second Street.

Live music at Fraternal Order of the Eagles –  Doug Dillman will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Saturday, April 16

Bird Walk – The Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will host its monthly bird walk at 8 a.m. The brief and easy walk will leave from the refuge visitor center.

City Easter Egg Hunt – The City of Seymour’s Easter Egg Hunt will be at 9:30 a.m. at Gaiser Park, 300 South Park Street, Seymour. The Easter Bunny will arrive at 9:30 a.m. and then the hunt will begin at 10 a.m. The event also will feature photos with the Easter Bunny printed for free by Walgreens.  Age groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.

Freetown Church of Christ Easter Egg Hunt – The Freetown Church of Christ will host an Easter Egg Hunt at 9:30 a.m. at the church, 7077 North State Road 135, Freetown. Doughnuts with the Easter Bunny is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and the egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. Breakfast is free and open to the public. The hunt is for kids infant-fifth grade.

Sheriff’s Department Easter Egg Hunt – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department will host its Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. at the department, 150 East State Road 250, Brownstown. There will be bicycles and other great prizes for all age groups. Age groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.

Reddington Christian Church Easter Egg Hunt – Reddington Christian Church will host its Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. at the church, 10516 U.S. 31, Seymour.

First Baptist Church of Seymour Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m., April 16, at the church, 505 Community Drive, Seymour. The event includes music, the Easter story. Bring your own basket.

Jackson Masonic Lodge #146 Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m. and noon, April 16, at the lodge, 1818 North Ewing Street, Seymour. Lunch will be available and the Order of the Eastern Star will host a bake sale.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1035 A Avenue, Seymour. Be sure to check out this wonderful place that is open each Saturday!

Community Church Brownstown Easter Egg Hunt – 11 a.m., April 16, Jackson-Washington State Forest Museum Shelter House. Free lunch will be served. Categories are 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12.

Freedom Fireworks Easter Egg Hunt – 2 p.m., April 16, at the Jackson County Courthouse lawn, Brownstown. Age groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12. There will be prizes, photos with the Easter Bunny and more. 16,000 eggs and more than 100 prizes will be available. Registration begins as early at 10 a.m.

Surprise Christian Church Easter Egg Hunt – 2 p.m., April 16, at the church, 6382 North County Road 100W, Surprise.

Brownstown Church of the Nazarene Easter Egg Hunt – 3 p.m., April 16, at the church, 616 West Commerce Street, Brownstown. This event includes the Family Color Run and egg hunt. Wear a white shirt for the run to prepare to be splattered with rainbow color. The event also includes giveaways, face painting, cotton candy, games and more.

Brownstown First Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt – 4 p.m., April 16, at the church, 1095 South State Road 135, Brownstown. For children up to fifth grade.

Live music at The Moose –  Forrest Turner will play at 8 p.m. at the Seymour Moose Lodge 418, located at 110 East Sixth Street, Seymour.

Sunday, April 17

Easter Egg Hunt – The First Untied Methodist Church of Seymour, 201 East Third Street, Seymour, will host an Easter Egg Hunt at 9:30 a.m.

St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Easter Egg Hunt – 9:30 p.m., April 17, at the church, 403 West Bridge Street, Brownstown.
