Seymour Oktoberfest: The Complete Guide
The Seymour Oktoberfest returns for its 48th year September 30-October 2 in downtown Seymour. Here’s your guide to the festival for information on entertainment, vendors, contests, parade, information – and of course – food. Prost!
The festival operates from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. September 30 through October 2. The Shuttle will run from the intersection of Walnut and Second streets to Seymour High School beginning at 4 p.m. September 30 and October 1, and then following the parade on October 2.

Biergarten
The Seymour Oktoberfest Biergraten operates from 5 to 10 p.m. September 29 and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. September 30 through October 2. To purchase a drink, you must have a ticket. One ticket will get you one drink. It is $5 per ticket.

Carnival
The carnival operates from 5 to 10 p.m. September 29, 5 to 11 p.m. September 30 and 1 to 11 p.m. October 1 and 2.
Bracelets are $20. Bracelet hours are during operation except for October 1, when bracelets will only be accepted from 1 to 5 p.m. Bracelets are not accepted October 2.

Start: 1:30 p.m., Location: North Walnut Street turn left onto North Walnut Street, end at Fifth Street.

Glow – The Hot Air Balloon Glow is from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. October 1 at the corner of West Fifth and North Walnut streets.
