Medora Kilnfest scheduled, tickets available at the Jackson County Visitor Center
Kilnfest at the Medora Brick Plant is scheduled for noon to midnight, September 18, at the former Medora Brick Plant, 8202 E. County Road 425S in Medora.
The festival will feature live music, a tribute to “Hee Haw”, door prizes, raffles, auction, vendors, flea market, kids games and more.
Tickets are $25, and if purchased before September 10, the price will include entry to the event, one Kilnfest 2021 shirt, and entry for the Special VIP door prize, a one-night stay at the Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun.
Proceeds from the event will go to help with the restoration of the kilns. The Medora Brick Plant was founded in 1904 to closed in 1992. It supplied bricks to homes, organizations, businesses and universities.
The event schedule is as follows:
Noon to 1 p.m. – Jerry and Amber Henson
1 to 2 p.m. – A Tribute to “Hee Haw” featuring Cornbread and Friends
3 to 5 p.m. – Forrest Turner
5 to 6 p.m. – Live Auction
7 to 8 p.m. – Justyn Underwood
8 to 9 p.m. – bon fire jam session (bring your own guitar)
9 p.m. to midnight – The Terry Dobbs Band
Tickets are available at the Jackson County Visitor Center, Perry Street Tavern, State Bank of Medora, Blake’s Place, Family Drug Brownstown, and from noon to 4 p.m. at the Medora Brick Plant.
