Summer just keeps getting better in Jackson County, and this is one of the biggest weekends yet.
Get ready for some good fun, live music and the return of the Jackson County Fair. But before you get ready to pick out all your favorite fair foods, be sure to check out what else is happening this weekend.

Thursday, July 22
Special Night – It’s Special Needs Night at the Shields Park Pool. Families with those with special needs are invited to the Shields Park Pool from 6 to 8 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
Friday, July 23
Kickin’ it at the Hick – Join Hickory Hills Golf Club for a fun night with its Kickin’ it at the Hick from 5 to 11 p.m. The evening will include live music, 50/50 raffle, cornhole raffle, Spanky’s Food Truck, and cash sales of beer and wine. Matt Trimnell will play from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and The Jackson Way will play from 8 to 11 p.m. It is $10 to attend.
Live Music at Harmony Park – Brad Treadway will play at 6:45 p.m. at Harmony Park.
Live Music at Rails – Don Elberg will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery.
“The Princess Who Had No Name” – The Jackson County Young Artists Theatre will present The Princess Who Had No Name with shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Jackson County Community Theatre in Brownstown. Tickets are $8. Order Tickets.
“The Savannah Sipping Society” – The Actors Community Theatre of Seymour will present The Savannah Sipping Society with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the theater in Seymour. Tickets are $12. Order Tickets.
Saturday, July 24
Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon in the Walnut Street Parking Lot.
Brownstown Ewing Main Street Concert – Brownstown Ewing Main Street will offer a free concert at 6 p.m. at Heritage Park on the courthouse square. Georgia native Taylor Cromer will perform and Justyn Underwood will open. There will be food from Spanky’s Food Truck and drinks from Pewter Hall available.
Live Music at Jackson Live – Amber Martin will perform at 7 p.m. at Jackson Live. Tickets are available by calling 812-521-1282.
Live Music at Rails – Austin James will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery.
