You can still help Jackson County Sertoma this weekend
It’s a holiday tradition in Jackson County that gives everyone the opportunity to get into the spirit of Christmas and giving back.
This year the Jackson County Sertoma Benefit Concert and Auction will look much different. We’re all used to getting together in person the night before Thanksgiving, but like many events this year, that in-person celebration and fundraiser had to be canceled.
But that has not stopped organizer Adam Nicholson from offering a virtual event for the community.
The event will be streamed on Facebook at 5 p.m. Saturday, December 5.

The night will feature entertainment by James Dupré and auction for items from businesses and organizations in Jackson County.
The cause helps raise money that benefits the Jackson County Sertoma Christmas Miracle, which provides Christmas presents to children throughout the county. Every dollar raised helps benefit a child who lives here.

Dupré first started playing in Jackson County back in 2012 during the Sertoma Benefit Concert, and has returned for multiple concerts including the Sertoma Benefit, Jackson County Festival of Wine and Brews and more. Dupré was a contestant on NBC’s The Voice in 2015 and was on Adam Levine’s team.
