March-April newsletter released, check out the update!
Now that the calendar has rolled over to March, we are really excited for things to gear up here at the Jackson County Visitor Center.
We’re also pretty excited to share with you the new look of our newsletter, The Jackson County Jaunts.
Click here if you want to see or download the newsletter.
We’ve been publishing The Jackson County Jaunts every-other-month for a number of years, but felt like this spring was the perfect time to give it an updated look.
There are two ways you can have the newsletter sent to you.
First, we can send you a copy in the mail. The newsletter will come through the mail at the beginning of the month that’s it’s published. We publish them in January, March, May, July, September and November.
The best part is that it is completely free! If you’d like to receive a copy through the mail, give me a call at 812-524-1914 or email me at jordan@jacksoncountyin.com with your name, phone number and address.
The second way we send the newsletter is through email. You’ll receive a PDF in your inbox shortly after we get it from our publisher. You can sign up through this link.
The only thing to remember is that we have to have all the events in way ahead of time, so there will be events organized after we print, so you’ll have to check our online calendar for the latest. That calendar is updated nearly every day, so it’s a great tool.
Dr. Nate Otte drew the rendering that features the restored freight depot we’ve called home since 2008.
We are thankful that he is letting us use it as the masthead of our newsletter. Our office manager, Alicia Froedge, helped me design (ok, she didn’t need my help) the way the top of the page looked.
I told Alicia what I had envisioned and she tweaked it into a much better presentation.
Anyway, thanks for reading and hopefully you sign up for our free newsletter! Go out and enjoy Jackson County!
